Key Responsibilities

  • Assist podiatrist with patient care, examinations, and in-office procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies following strict sterilization and infection control guidelines
  • Obtain and document patient HPIs
  • Administer medications and dressings as directed by the podiatrist
  • Provide patient education related to foot care, wound care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Perform basic wound care, apply compression wraps, cutting of nails, and assist with orthotic fittings (training provided if needed)
  • Take Xrays with a Tigerview portal device
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR)
  • Support office workflow including patient scheduling, room turnover, and supply management
  • Deliver compassionate, professional care to patients of all ages

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license
  • Previous experience in podiatry, wound care, or outpatient clinics is a plus (but not required)
  • Strong understanding of clinical procedures, infection control, and patient safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with EHR systems
  • Knowledge of podiatry terminology or foot/ankle conditions
  • Experience with wound care or post-operative care

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Nail Technician to join our team in a Podiatry office! This is an opportunity to grown your own business. As a nail technician, you will provide pedicures, Keryflex and other nail care services and treatments to our valued customers. In addition, you will assess each customer’s individual needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and methods of care. Nail technician responsibilities may include shaping, cutting, and molding toenails. If you are skilled in nail art techniques and committed to providing clients with exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate each client’s nails and recommend nail care and treatment
  • Clean and shape toenails
  • Remove previously applied polish and apply new polish
  • Apply Keryflex
  • Maintain a clean workspace and properly sanitized equipment
  • Provide foot massages

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a manicurist or nail technician
  • Skilled in a range of nail techniques
  • Strict adherence to sanitation and sterilization procedures
  • Certification in cosmetology or nail art or a state nail technician license is preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
