As an established Boston podiatrist, Dr. Jordana Szpiro has accumulated extensive clinical and surgical experience working with patients of all ages.  Living an active lifestyle herself through ballet, running, squash and skiing/snowboarding, she is particularly sensitive to the toll that athletic activities can tdr-jordana-szpiroake on one’s feet.  She is also mindful of the importance of providing treatment options that allow patients to return to their normal routines as soon as possible.  As such, she is highly qualified to help those in need of a foot doctor in Boston.

No matter if the diagnosis is plantar fasciitis, gout, diabetic foot care issues or a sports-related injury, Dr. Szpiro makes it a point to recommend the least invasive and debilitating treatments.  She is committed to treating her patients properly without compromising their quality of life.

Dr. Szpiro’s educational background

Before practicing as a podiatrist in Boston, Dr. Szpiro earned a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine.  She then completed a two year residency in New York City where she advanced her education in surgical management of common foot disorders including bunions, bone spurs, neuromas, heel spurs.

Dr. Jordana Szpiro was raised in Southern California where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California at Irvine before pursuing her education in podiatry.  She has since moved to the area and practiced as a Boston podiatrist since 2000, treating patients from all types of backgrounds and age groups with a multitude of disorders and foot care concerns.

Dr. Szpiro is on staff at several area hospitals including Mt. Auburn, a Harvard teaching hospital, as well as hosptials affiliated with the Cambridge Health Alliance.  Her practice involves treatment of a wide range of podiatric disorders from diabetic foot care to plantar fasciits.  Her work at these respected Boston hospitals allows her to continually enhance her expertise as a podiatrist and remain well-versed in the latest treatments.  Dr Szpiro is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
